Hammer two nails into the leather piece and the wooden plate.

Apply glue to the hole and the stick and leave it to get slightly tacky.

Hammer the round stick into the wooden plate.

Use the sandpaper to smooth out the edges.

Attach a fresh roll of paper towel and measure out, where the leather strap will be cut.

Cut the leather into size and cut off its corners.

Punch two holes with your rotary leather punch, so that it gets possible to tighten in the leather strap, once the paper towel gets smaller.
