Decorative rivets with diamonds 

Installation of rivets:
Before installing the decorative rivet, you must make a hole either with pliers or a chisel. The hole must be large enough for the rod on the upper part to easily pass through. There must be some free space around the rod, so that there is room for the collar on the lower part to be pressed down onto it.


When installing decorative rivets, use a small hand stamp and a hammer. Place the part with the diamond down against your table with a few pieces of leather underneath so that the diamond is not damaged during the installation. Place the small hand stamp on top of the bottom of the rivet and strike with the hammer. Be careful to keep the hand stamp vertically and firmly down against the lower part.


It is important to have a stable, protective surface such as e.g. a garden tile or something that does not move. If you are working at a table, make sure you position yourself so that you drive in the decorative rivet just above the table leg so that the table top does not move. If you hit the decorative rivet in e.g. in the middle of a table that slightly bends when you strike it with the hammer, it is impossible to get the rivet to sit straight.
