This chisel is primarily used to make holes for sewing, where a completely straight seam will be made. The chisel should be placed in the crease made either by using a creaser or a wing divider, after which it should be hammered through the crease with a rawhide maul. The chisel has a rough handle that provides a good grip and ensures an easier work process.
