This French skiver can be used for reducing the thickness of the leather and is particularly suited for cutting leather edges. If you want to have your leather edges at a certain angle, e.g., at the bottom of a bag, you can place the skiver at the angle you want, so that the edges of the bottom of the bag are completely sharp. The skiver has a cutting edge of 6 mm and can easily be used by both right and left-handed people.
