The double shoulders have a soft and supple quality, achieved through a special tanning process where extra grease has been added. Although the leather is treated with grease, the surface does not feel greasy.
After tanning, it is drummed, which gives the leather flexibility without making it elastic.

The name "Viking cow" refers to the leather's popularity among Viking role players, who often use it for shoes, bags and other small leather goods. Natural marks from insect bites and small scars add a light patina and a raw, authentic look even when it is new.
