Large, light-coloured and vegetable tanned double croupons from Montana in Italy. The leather has an untreated back, is available in several thicknesses and has a wide range of use.
Vegetable tanned leather develops a beautiful, deep colour and patina over time. With its versatility, it is suitable for both small and large projects - from purses and bags to beautiful wet shaping work.

•    Size: A whole piece measures approx. 110 cm x 140 cm (equivalent to approx. 18 - 20 square feet).

Application
Double croupon, crust has many uses depending on thickness:

1.0 – 1.2 mm: Suitable for smaller projects, inside pockets, etc.
1.4 – 1.6 mm: Perfect for purses, bags and wet shaping of leather animals, etc. Read more about wet shaping of leather animals in the book “Ellevild – med læderdyr” The book is in Danish, but easy to understand due to the illustrations in the book.
2.0 – 2.2 mm: Ideal for bags, straps and home interiors.
2.6 – 2.8 mm: Suitable for larger bags, belts and straps.
3.0 – 3.2 mm: Suitable for large bags, heavy belts and straps.
