Exclusive fat-tanned back (leather), which during the tanning process is treated with a mixture of synthetic oils and wax.
The treatment envelops the fibres of the leather, which preserves flexibility, makes it more water-repellent and protects against moisture. At the same time, it extends the durability of the leather and makes it particularly resistant over time.
The leather is undyed but appears darker than ordinary natural-coloured leather due to the fat tanning.
The high quality makes the back suitable for a wide range of leather projects – for example dog leashes, where the slightly water-repellent property is important
