These chisels have a very sharp blade and make perfect holes even in thick leather. The Craftplus chisels are available with different numbers of prongs and with different distances between them, however, they all have 2 mm wide prongs. The prongs of the chisels are at a 45-degree angle, which ensures a nice and uniform result when sewing with saddle stitch. To get the same distance between all the holes, one prong must be put through the last hole from the previously made holes, after which the chisel is driven through the leather using a rawhide maul.
