Grain 240, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 and 2000, where 240 is the coarsest and 2000 is the finest.

 

Application

• Wet sanding paper is suitable for use on hard materials, such as wood, metal, and plastic materials.

• The wet sanding paper can be used both wet and dry, but the optimal result is achieved by moistening either the area to be sanded or the water sanding paper itself with a water spray bottle - depending on the preferred working method.

 

Advantage

With wet sanding, only minimal material is removed from what is being sanded.

 

What grain size should I use?

Grain 240 is the coarsest and is ideal for processing where you need to remove a scratch, for example.

Grits 400, 600 and 800 are used for smoothing, while the finer grits 1000, 1200, 1500 and 2000 ensure a completely smooth and glossy finish.
