TOKO Tough Coat is a professional, water-based polyurethane finish (synthetic resin) developed especially for leather. It seals the color and creates a highly durable surface that effectively protects against wear and aging. Available in both gloss and matt finishes. Suitable for all types of leather – both dyed and untreated – and ideal for use over tooled designs.

• Extremely durable surface. The urethane-based formula provides a finish up to five times more resistant to wear than traditional acrylic products – even when applied thinly.

• Versatile use. Works on both vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned leather.

• Preserves the natural look of leather. After drying, the surface is smooth and silky to the touch, without altering the leather’s texture.

• No odor issues. The product is completely odorless – both during application and after drying.

 

Instructions for use

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application.

• Apply a thin layer using a brush, sponge, or cloth – absorption may vary. If applying TOKO Tough Coat over dyed leather, it is crucial that the color is completely dry before use.

• If the leather absorbs the first layer quickly, applying an additional coat is recommended.
