This wing divider is used for marking seam lines and for outlining round pieces of leather. The divider can make a circle with a diameter of max. 114 mm and is particularly suitable for smaller items such as leather coasters or other small leather goods. When it is used for outlining leather, it can be a good idea to draw the circle on the back of the leather so that the sharp tip will not pierce a hole into the leather. When marking a seam line, the leather must subsequently be pierced with a chisel, or subsequently rolled with a space marker and then pierced with an awl.
