Sole leather is an extra stiff and shape-retaining leather that is vegetable tanned using a special method and subsequently rolled.
It is particularly suitable for projects where high strength and stability are required – for example shoe soles or other technical and hard-wearing applications. The piece is a croupon, which means that it comes from the firmest part of the hide.

We recommend Klebfest, Aquatack or Renia Aquilim for glueing sole leather. For optimal adhesion, it is important that the surfaces to be glued are rough – use a scratch brush, for example.
