Stingray leather is known for its distinctive surface, covered with small, hard nodules. These form a natural armor, giving the leather a pearl-like texture, a rugged, exclusive appearance, and exceptional durability.
Due to its tough surface, the leather cannot be stitched through directly. Instead, a groove must be sanded into the surface to place the stitching.
