Stingray leather is known for its distinctive surface covered with small, hard nodules that form a natural armour. This gives the leather a pronounced, pearl-like texture with a raw and exclusive appearance. At the same time, the surface is extremely hard and durable.

Due to the hard surface, the leather cannot be stitched through directly. For stitching, a groove is sanded into the surface where the stitches are placed.
