Salmon Leather, Raw features a soft, natural surface without a final finishing treatment. This highlights the leather's dense, regular scale pattern and gives it a refined and natural appearance.

The leather is very supple and develops a natural patina over time. With use, the surface gradually develops a subtle sheen, the scale pattern becomes less pronounced, and variations in colour may appear. These changes give the leather a unique, characterful appearance that evolves over time.

The combination of flexibility, fine texture and durability makes salmon leather particularly suitable for both decorative and functional purposes, including watch straps, jewellery, wallets and bags.

ICTYOS works with a network of local partners to ensure traceability throughout the supply chain. Short transport distances also help reduce the company's carbon footprint.

The fish skins are a by-product of the food industry that would otherwise have been discarded. Production therefore does not contribute to increased fishing but makes use of an existing resource in accordance with the principles of upcycling.

ICTYOS favours vegetable tanning agents derived from sources such as leaves, roots and fruits to limit the impact on forest resources.
