This grooving compass is made by the French luxury brand of leather tools, Vergez Blanchard. The compass is used for marking round grooves in the leather and to mark out the seam line along the edge of the leather. It is made of brass and copper, which makes it every durable and solid, and it has a small screw that makes it possible to change the width and to maintain an even seamline.
